She has blossomed from a most promising child prodigy into the foremost youngest Violin Wizard of India with many sold out global concert- tours to her credit by the sheer versatility and brilliance of her Violin playing and the outstanding foundational grooming she profited from her legendary beloved grandfather Shri.Vidwan .Gopala Pillai .

Athira has enthralled audiences across the world including performances for prestigious International Music Festivals in India and abroad like in RUSSIA, MUSCAT, DOHA, MIDDLE EAST, GERMANY, BEHRAIN, KIRGISTHAN, SINGAPORE, KAZAKIZTHAN etc.

In 2005,Athira was invited for giving the Inaugural Concert for the Birthday Celebrations of Honorable President of India.Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam .

Athira had the rare honor to be featured in the `Indian Music Academy's' JALSA-2007 the 12 city concert series featuring a LEGEND & LEGEND IN THE MAKING . Athira was featured along with Pandit .Jasraj in this prestigious Concert.
